Worksport Ltd. (NASDAQ: WKSP) reported preliminary, unaudited financial figures showing strong momentum in its business from April through June 2026. According to a Form 8-K filing, the company’s monthly net sales increased from approximately $1.43 million in April to $2.08 million in June, representing growth of about 46%.
The company said June marked its strongest month during the period, with sales also increasing approximately 21% from May. The figures highlight continued growth in Worksport’s commercial activity as it expands product adoption and sales volume.
Gross Profit Growth Outpaces Sales
The most significant development was the sharp increase in gross profit. Worksport’s gross profit rose from approximately $310,000 in April to $720,000 in June, representing growth of approximately 132%.
This increase significantly outpaced the company’s 46% sales growth during the same period. Worksport said the trend demonstrates that the company is generating more profit as its sales base expands, suggesting improving operating efficiency and stronger economics across its business.
Gross profit also increased by approximately $410,000 between April and June, while monthly revenue rose by roughly $650,000 during the same period.
Gross Margin Climbs Above 35%
Worksport also highlighted a substantial improvement in its gross margin. The company said its gross margin run rate has stabilized above 35%, compared with approximately 26% during the first quarter of 2026.
The improvement could become an important factor in the company’s efforts to reach operational cash-flow breakeven. Higher margins allow Worksport to retain more gross profit from each dollar of revenue, potentially strengthening its ability to cover operating expenses as sales continue to grow.
Management believes that the combination of rising sales, expanding gross margins and faster gross-profit growth is moving the company closer to operational cash-flow positivity and eventual profitability.
Full Q2 Results Still Ahead
The figures disclosed in the filing are preliminary and unaudited, meaning they remain subject to quarter-end review and possible adjustments. Worksport expects to report its complete second-quarter 2026 results in its applicable SEC filing around August 11, 2026.
Investors will likely focus on whether the company can maintain its sales momentum and gross margins in the coming months. The key question will be whether the sharp improvement in profitability during the second quarter represents a sustainable trend as Worksport continues scaling its business.
For now, the preliminary data points to accelerating sales growth and significantly stronger gross-profit generation, giving investors an early look at a potentially important financial inflection point for the company.
