NUBURU, Inc. (OTC: BURU) reported its second consecutive quarter of positive stockholders’ equity, marking another significant step in the company’s financial restructuring. As of June 30, 2026, stockholders’ equity stood at $9.37 million, compared with a $15.18 million deficit at the end of 2025.
The company said the improvement reflects recent financing activity, debt repayment and progress under its broader transformation strategy.
Revenue Begins to Grow
NUBURU also reported $524,927 in second-quarter revenue, compared with no revenue in the same quarter of 2025. Revenue for the first six months of 2026 reached $932,571, also compared with zero revenue during the comparable period last year.
The company attributed the new revenue base primarily to its expanded platform following the consolidation of Orbit and Lyocon.
$38 Million Financing
A major part of NUBURU’s recent financial progress came from a $38 million public offering completed on July 17. After offering costs and debt repayments, approximately $18.74 million remained available to the company.
NUBURU used part of the proceeds to fully repay its December 2025 YA debenture and $1.25 million of Lyocon acquisition notes. In total, the company said it eliminated approximately $16.75 million of principal obligations through these repayments.
However, the financing involved common stock, pre-funded warrants and preferred stock, creating substantial potential dilution for existing shareholders.
Tekne Acquisition Advances
NUBURU also announced that the Italian government granted Golden Power authorization for its proposed acquisition of a 70% controlling interest in Tekne S.p.A. The company said the transaction has cleared its principal regulatory hurdle and that the remaining customary closing steps are being completed.
Following the acquisition, NUBURU expects Tekne to add industrial scale, special vehicles and electronic-warfare capabilities to its defense and security platform.
NYSE American Appeal
Despite the balance-sheet improvement, NUBURU continues to face a major listing challenge. NYSE American suspended trading in BURU in July over a low-selling-price determination, and the stock subsequently began trading on the OTC market.
NUBURU has appealed the decision, with a NYSE American Listings Qualifications Panel hearing scheduled for September. The company said it intends to present its recent financial and operational improvements during the appeal.
Investor Outlook
The latest results show measurable progress in NUBURU’s balance sheet and revenue generation, but significant risks remain. The company continues to operate with losses and faces uncertainty surrounding its exchange listing, integration of acquisitions and future execution.
For investors, the key question is whether NUBURU can turn its improved financial position and expanding defense platform into sustainable revenue, stronger margins and positive cash flow while addressing the NYSE listing challenge.
